Yes, Yes I do. If you know me, you'll know what I mean. Haven't seen The Chronic in a very long time!

My first boyfriend and I used to ride around in his Nissan pickup listening to Dr. Dre's The Chronic on cd. Man, I bet I sang "Ain't Nothin' But a G Thang" in that truck 10 million times. The feelings for the boyfriend have long since been forgotten, but my love for the song remains with me to this day. It reminds me of a time when I was young and very naive. I am still naive, but not so young!

I found a few of D's old cassette tapes in B&L's basement. I borrowed B's walkman (yep, old school walkman) popped a tape in there and was surprised that it was The Chronic. I think that the tape had been played many many times as the sound quality was poor-but come to think of it, the sound quality of most cassette tapes after the 3rd or 4th playing diminished. I never did get to hear the song above, but the good old bass from a Sony Walkman got me through my minutes on the hamster wheel.

Other Cassette choices: Snoop Doggy Dogg (the Doggfather), Ray Stevens, John Conlee, Big Punisher. I'd love to go back to my old room and find all of my old cassette tapes. I had some great ones. I was really into Queen when I was a kid-I had most of the albums on cassette.
