TMI Wednesday Edition

1. What was your favorite book as a kid?

My favorite book when I was a kid was probably Any of the Chronicles of Narnia

2. If you were stranded on that proverbial desert island (again!), what book or books (up to 5) would you want to have with you?

Have to say The Bible, Gone With the Wind (so I would finally read it), Insomnia (by Steven King), The whole set of The Chronicles of Narnia, and Green Eggs and Ham

3. What was the first "naughty" book you read and in what way was it naughty?

How To Make Love All Night and Drive Your Woman Wild. There is no way an 11 year old should find a book like that.

4. If you were to publish your autobiography today, what would be the title?

Why I'm Crazy

5. Would you rather look at nude pictures/pornography or read erotic fiction and why?

I'd rather read it because I like seeing things in my imagination better than seeing pictures.

Bonus (as in optional):Do you know the whereabouts today of the first person with whom you had sex?
Yep, He still lives in the same town he did 9 years ago and is married and has at least 3? kids.

The Chronic

I love the CHRONIC
Current mood: amused

Yes, Yes I do. If you know me, you'll know what I mean. Haven't seen The Chronic in a very long time!

My first boyfriend and I used to ride around in his Nissan pickup listening to Dr. Dre's The Chronic on cd. Man, I bet I sang "Ain't Nothin' But a G Thang" in that truck 10 million times. The feelings for the boyfriend have long since been forgotten, but my love for the song remains with me to this day. It reminds me of a time when I was young and very naive. I am still naive, but not so young!

I found a few of D's old cassette tapes in B&L's basement. I borrowed B's walkman (yep, old school walkman) popped a tape in there and was surprised that it was The Chronic. I think that the tape had been played many many times as the sound quality was poor-but come to think of it, the sound quality of most cassette tapes after the 3rd or 4th playing diminished. I never did get to hear the song above, but the good old bass from a Sony Walkman got me through my minutes on the hamster wheel.

Other Cassette choices: Snoop Doggy Dogg (the Doggfather), Ray Stevens, John Conlee, Big Punisher. I'd love to go back to my old room and find all of my old cassette tapes. I had some great ones. I was really into Queen when I was a kid-I had most of the albums on cassette.

What cassettes were your favorites? Let me know!
